Demonstrating plastic-free film materials at FACHPACK

We attended this year’s FACHPACK trade fair in Nuremberg to present the latest progress in our seaweed-based packaging materials.

At the event, the team showcased packaging films made entirely from renewable resources. The materials are fossil-free, 100% bio-based, and chemically unmodified, reflecting noriware’s work over recent months to bring nature-based alternatives closer to market readiness.

What stood out in particular was the openness of visitors towards new ideas and materials in the packaging sector. We had many engaging and thoughtful conversations about concrete applications, regulatory developments such as the PPWR, and the practical steps needed to move towards plastic-free packaging. These exchanges provided valuable insights and reinforced the strong interest in innovative, natural packaging solutions.
